Re: WWE NXT 2016

I guess if Nakamura will be in NXT a lot longer than people would like if Balor is getting the call up. He'll probably be the one who will have the role of the main face off the brand. As for who else in the mix, I look for Bobby Roode to debut soon. I wouldn't be shocked if he shows up next week, d...

Re: WWE NXT 2016

I keep wondering if there's any point in this Ricochet/WWE story being reported? Unless he has so e sort of loophole I'm thinking he can't just waltz into WWE/NXT any time soon. The LU deals don't allow people to go anywhere until the season has aired and then I believe there's a lenghty no-compete....

Re: Global Cruiserweight Series (WWE)

I was listening to an interview with Ricochet a while back and he said he has a 7 year contract with LU.... of course he was probably bending the length about, but sounded like a pretty stiff contract. Well yeah, but hes got an out after season 3. Someone on Twitter made a remark about Ricochet hav...

Re: Global Cruiserweight Series (WWE)

If they got Sabre and Ibushi to be two of their main outside names that would be good enough.

Re: Global Cruiserweight Series (WWE)

I think Dave had said they are not going to focus on using main roster nmaes or people featured on NXT TV. I don't kno if that's the case. If not then looking through the rosters I guess you can say Zayn, Kalisto, Neville and Breeze would be possibilities. With talk of big plans for New Day starting...

Re: Global Cruiserweight Series (WWE)

From everything I've heard to this point, people are setting themselves up to be disappointed with the participants. Not to pull a Meltzer, but of course that could always change. Yeah, I've seen wild speculation. Don't expect anyone too out of the norm. I fully expect Zack Sabre to be in this, and...

The big announcement is that the Whitmer and Corino feud will never come to an end.

Re: WWE NXT 2016

I'm thinking you won't see TMDK on TV right away, especially after reading the line in the article about how they may or may not be teaming up. They have a rep, but they don't have the same name recognition as other signees.

Re: The Official WWE Thread: Road to WrestleMania 32

I think whoever loses the title match at Takeover goes to the main roster. It can go either way. You can still set up Doc and Anderson to debut with Finn on either the main roster or NXT. Thee seems to have been talk of both.

Re: TNA: It still exists, kind of!

So Dave says Roode's deal expired and he originally agreed to a new deal for less money. Then he changed his mind and decided he wanted out. This smells like WWE got in connect with him.

Re: TNA: It still exists, kind of!

Meltzer: There is nothing confirmed, but within the industry, the belief is Roode is WWE-bound. I think it's notable that in this update he only mentions about Roode and WWE and nothing about Eric Young. If this is something to read into then no surprise. Even with WWE stockpiling on wrestlers i m ...

Re: "Why NXT May Be a Long-Term] Detriment For Pro Wrestling"

I think there is also a difference between WWE signing people like Joe, Aries and the New Japan names and WWE signing people who attended tryout camps. With the tryout camps I think that is where WWE is still treating NXT like a developmental, rather than trying to be a super Indy brand. They have I...

Re: "Why NXT May Be a Long-Term] Detriment For Pro Wrestling"

Couple things here: 1) Starting the article off by framing HHH the promoter by bringing up acts of him as a performer give the article an air of 'conspiracy theory' that really never gets shaken throughout. I get trying to explain who he was throughout the 2000s, but I don't see any of that necessa...
