I just re-watched the White - tanahashi match from KOPW and it was EXTREMELY good before the interference, and even that led to good stuff. If anyone doubts White's in-ring they should rewatch this. His athleticism and strength are impressive, and he was right with Tanahashi in that closing stretch....
