Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

The TV the last few weeks has been great and I talked with even a few of the more critical ROH fans who have agreed.

KUSHIDA vs. Marty for the belt was this past weekend so the episode may be on their website today.

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

Strong four episodes of ROH TV from this past Sunday. If this weekend is Cody vs. Kaz, it's surprisingly good. Dave Starr is on that episode too.

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

The Tribune deal if it goes through will be huge. Sinclair is already big but this gives them some great markets for their TV. Maybe even puts them on WGN America. Look, what Sinclair thinks politically is something that I don't bother with. It's really how I approach any company. I didn't stop eati...

Re: Attitude Era match recs

These list are great! One match I'll throw in is X-Pac vs Chris Jericho cage match from No Mercy 2000. Fun match with a cool finish. Yes! Great addition. Really love that match. Essentially just watch a bunch of shit from 2000, act like 1999 never happened and you'll be good. Rich, this is not a sh...

Re: Attitude Era match recs

Triple H, Sean Waltman, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, & Perry Saturn vs. The Rock, Too Cool, Rikishi, & Cactus Jack - Raw 2/7/2000

This is one of my favorite TV matches of all time, easily.

Re: ECW on the WWE Network thread

March/April 2000 ECW had some good TV matches, a couple GREAT matches, and a below average Pay Per View that probably ranks among their worst. - Super Crazy wins the TV belt in a tournament after beating Rhino, who was the handpicked winner by the Network. They clearly tried here to put over Crazy t...

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

I'm sure Mauro is a fan of ROH and a lot of the guys who work there. That'd be a good PR move by ROH too.

Re: ECW on the WWE Network thread

WWE did a great job gathering together all the big angles and storylines leading into Barely Legal, which will be 20 this year.

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

Tickets sold very well for the May New Japan tour with just upper, upper level in NYC available and some scattered seats in Dearborn. Philadelphia and Toronto are standing room only.

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

Personally, it would mean a lot for me as a supporter of his for Cole's last match to be at the ECW Arena. It would be the TV tapings on Sunday to close out the New Japan shows. When CZW still had the school there, it's where he trained. It's where he debuted on the Chris Ca$h show. I don't think th...

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

You wonder now what is next. Mania weekend is it's own thing. But they need to bring some buzz back to the NJPW shows in May, which was not that big compared to the two years previous. The PPV in NYC and TV tapings in Philadelphia specifically. If they can bring in Shibata and Ishii, that'd be huge....

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

I think the fact that they brought out the old ROH belt is something that was so cool. It was a nice nod to the fans who were around at the beginning by a company that does not embrace their history as much as they should besides "Hey you know that guy! He used to wrestle for us!" type stuff. And it...

Re: RESULTS: The Honor Roll: ROH's 50 Greatest Wrestlers Ever (166-101)

I found it very interesting that Cheeseburger, who is very over with ROH audiences, only made it to four ballots. He's not that great in-ring, but still. You'd think he'd be on more given his cult like status. But it may just be very niche.

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

I actually think that's a badass match. Wish it'd be relaxed rules too.
