Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

Watched Kenta vs Marufujj...felt a bit WWE-ish, the double lariat, get back up for example.

Anyway Marufuji said one of his arms are numbish and hopes to retire early to become a painter.

Re: Wrestle-1 thread

They should steal the NOAH ticket gimmick to boost attendances.

Re: No.2 promotion in Japan

No 2 is whoever got the most tv slots (more viewers) and better attendances in k-hall and can draw 6000 plus in sumo hall. And the most sponsers.

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Japanese news sites and blogs and people from Japan. It's more accurate.

But I don't always report everything.

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

Well to be fair they had Kobashi and Misawa. But yeah every guy they pushed beyond them was a failure for many reasons.

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

Glad Go lost. It's gonna be some while until Kaito is made as the true ace...

Unless they bomb that like every other failed ace since 2009.

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Don't worry about Jake Lee, Jun's a big fan of him in real life. But Jake's limited years of experience might delay his push.

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Not all wrestlers ever sign to even get a big push (more money, more exposure, change of settings, rats) or smart enough to know they prey on your hopes in your face to remove it later.

Nakamura was still in the top 4 guys before he left, even if NJPW wasn't pushing him as a IWGP hw contender.

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Anyone signed by WWE would be most of the Gaijin and whatever Native that actually wanted to go to WWE or escape the role Gedo gave them. WWE is very good at kneecapping promotions in the modern era to prevent growth.

Would be a blow to NJPW if Naito signed.

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

The info from Japan is that he is not that interested in being there and attitude problems.

So "family issues" became the cover up.
