I've missed Superstars the last two weeks. Will check out the cruiser match tomorrow.

No speculation needed. It's official. Superstars is cancelled.

So much of the Superstars love originally years ago was because it provided an outlet for some of the very good workers, some of who were improving, to have longer matches on TV.

Guys like Masters, Drew, Trent, Bourne, Swagger, Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Morrison, Primo, Hunico, Sin Cara, Hunico as Sin Cara, Yoshi Tatsu, Zack Ryder. Even Regal as his career ended.

It's been watered down in the last year and a half, but there was a time when there were four matches and at least two were worth watching. I hope Main Event can be what it once was too, but that ship has likely sailed.

Oh shit and yeah - check out Apollo Crews vs. Luke Harper from the Main Event from the Wilkes-Barre Smackdown 900 I was at a few weeks ago. Great c-show match.

YO. They'll be taping before SmackDown soon enough.

Observer:
WWE quietly dropped the Superstars show, which had been exclusive to the network. Superstars and Main Event didn’t have many viewers on the network to begin with and were never even in the top 20 watched shows, while the Cruiserweight Classic during its run was the most-watched show on the network other than the PPVs most weeks.

It's too bad, you can actually be expected to watch wrestling on that show. It's like Sunday Night Heat all over again, started strong, but stuff happened (all WWE's doing btw) so they turn it into a lower card show with few feuds, no title changes, no surprises and all the bs recaps that people can watch on the internet nowadays or usually ignore.

I really think those lower card guys need a show like that so they can perform without pointless squashes, sketches or cameos. Now more than ever, they won't have anything to do. Yet people still want Cesaro and Zayn to go to SmackDown, forgetting the fact they have feuds now since Main Event is now the Raw C-Show, they might as well stay put if they want some tv time.

I don't have Hulu Plus or bother grabbing Main Event early through various means, so the Network is two weeks behind on shows airing to when they're uploaded to the Network.

There is a Mustafa Ali vs. Brian Kendrick match on the 1/10 episode worth seeing. It opens the show too if you want to watch it. Nothing great but it was a nice match for the time they gave them. Ali showed a few nice moves on offense and Kendrick was pretty stiff with some of his submissions. He took a couple good bumps for Ali too.

Main Event won't be a bad show to check out if they do a cruisers match, Shining Stars tag, and a hoss match every week with Swagger.
