Wrestle Circus appears to be closing its doors, as one of the owners was recommended to move on after suffering a stress-related illness.

None of the future events have valid ticket pages, and there have been no updates whatsoever about the next scheduled event in 2 weeks.

and the big main event for the big Wrestle Circus return show is...
...
...
...
Tessa Blanchard vs Brian Cage..., Sideshow title vs Ringmaster Title

I'm a support of inter gender wrestling, and I've backed the Circus a lot since they started, but that's unbelievably underwhelming; will Tessa Blanchard win all their belts? Stay tuned

Are the days of dudes killing themselves for 4 3/4 star matches bc this company pays so well over?

What ****3/4 matches? I never saw anything there belonging in the same class of ratings as peak Danielson vs. McGuinness or the early TLC days. Mostly raw but very talented performers.

It was still pretty fun in its own way, the crowd were eating it up and Tessa's athleticism and ballseyness were pretty impressive.

So Saturdays show moved from 800 Congress Ave to Emos East, and they sent out an email to fans to announce no shows will be happening April or May

Show for Saturday does look a lot better on paper than February: Strickland vs Penta, Dezmond Xavier vs Fenix, Tessa vs Chelsea Green, Shane Taylor vs JT Dunn, Extra Talented vs James and Dalton, and Teddy Hart/Andrew Everett/Myron Reed/Zachary Wentz

Pretty odd how they keep moving the show to smaller & smaller venues, while sending out daily email blasts desperately trying to move tickets, while also cancelling the next two shows altogether. Hmm, let me piece this one together...
