Just read that Kamaitachi's super fan was in attendance last night. Her commitment is ridiculous.

I'm a little disappointed in the booking. If you look at who made the second round, it's mostly long time PWG regulars, and Hennigan, Rhodes and Haskins. The idea of Riddle, Kassa, Kamaitachi, Cobb, Fenix and Pentagon Jr. losing in the first round doesn't depress me because they lost, because I know most of, if not all, of those guys will get future PWG bookings as their schedules permit. It just depresses me because you could've had a ton of fresh matches if even half of those guys made the second round, and instead we're likely in for some match ups that PWG has done before.

I will say that I have no idea who wins this, but my gut says Ospreay, Hero or maybe Scurll.

Meltzer
You would expect a lot given who was in this match but it blew away any expectations. It had great spots, super heat, great timing with one exception and the last few minutes were mind blowing. Essentially you have the most physically talented wrestlers in the world on one side working with a team that knows this audience perfectly and all did everything under the sun.

Sydal & Ricochet topped the Meltzer Driver. The place was chanting five star match when it was over. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a tag team match this good.
He also said Dunne/Andrews was "up there with the best U.S. matches this year."

That legitimately be one of, if not THE greatest PWG shows ever. EVERY. SINGLE. MATCH. DELIVERED. I can't even name a worst match on the show because there was no worst match. Every match was great in some way. Even the Cody match, which people were concerned about, was a very good match. Cody looked fantastic. Maybe it was because he knew he had something to prove or maybe it was the crowd giving him a megastar reaction but he absolutely killed all concerns people had. And Dunne and Andrews absolutely killed it. I would be shocked if Dunne isn't invited back to PWG at some point.

Cody having his wife do the announcing for his entrance with a shot at his former company included is the type of stuff I wish he wouldn't do. Just cringey stuff that he doesn't need to do, let his work do the talking and leave his wife out of it.

The tag with Kendrick being a surprise looks good...but why the fuck is Sami Callihan wearing a cat mask? Does he think this is a good thing?

It is quite simple. Because, Sami Callahan was a internet hacker in his past life. And the Internet used to be known for MySpace and Cats. Since MySpace is a copyrighted property. He decided to go back to his Space Roots (He used to live in outer space with Space Monkey) and become a cat, A Space Cat.
