Kevin Owens is the most believable character in a very promo heavy promotion, in large part due to his talking.

Paul Heyman is an all timer and is still better than 99.9%.

I don't have a #3 right now. I'll have to put some thought into it. Maybe Jay Briscoe. He terrifies me.

Kevin Owens.

Nobody else harnesses their character as well as Owens does. He speaks with just the right amount of "over-the-top"-ness that's required in WWE but at the same time stays grounded in his humanistic character. I think he's wonderful and he does a great job conveying his character's intention. Let's also add the first half of the year in NXT to this case too.

Kind of a poor year for promos. The lack of them on the indies and NXT is pretty concerning in terms of the future of the business. On the indies I see better female talkers then male.

I HATE mixing MMA and Pro Wrestling together but I feel the need to:
1. Conor McGregor 2. Kevin Owens 3. John Cena

I can see why people would vote for Heyman. But I question his actual effective on business. Also I think he's too samey, locked into a style, leans on his certain tropes delivery wise and prior reputation.

Random honourable mentions to Adam Cole and I think Drew Galloway can be commanding talker talker but he sadly ties himself to the exact same "PRO WRESTLING" promo.

This will be the only time I will ever vote for a MMA guy. But I can't think of anyone who tops Conor McGregor. He should win this award.

If I put Conor on my list, I'd have to also put Floyd.

Ownes, Xavier, Steph.

Conor McGregor.

No one in pro wrestling this year had any memorable promos. You have to look at MMA because at this point good promos in pro wrestling are getting few and far between with the intense scripting, poor dialouge and monotone delivery. Heyman was too few and far between. Owens is fine what he has been given. Cena is okay but not someone I'd vote for.
