I know everyone's got boners for Fireball, Aerostar & Co., but man oh man, Pirata Jr. has been my favorite AAA midcarder for a long ass while now. He has MAIN EVENT written all over him.

Just an insane, PWG-style match. The team of Daga, Morgan and Pain have been the highlight of the AAA shows for me during the last month or two. Especially when they are against Aerostar or Australian Suicide.

Watch for Aerostar's crazy tope suicida.

How is Triple A post-Alberto? Are business down yet, and who's taken his place in the main event scene?

They've run so few shows that it's hard to figure out how the business is affected or how they'll handle things. The Mexico City show in a couple weeks will be the best indication for both.

Is Guerra De Titanes going to be an ippv? All the big shows since Rey de Reyes last year have been so was hoping this would be too. The Internet tv site that has hosted them doesn't say anything.

Not on iPPV. They're not above changing their mind at the last moment, but I wouldn't plan on it.

Welp this isn't good. I don't know the specifics with Rey cause I've stayed away from any Lucha Underground news but this seems interesting after Konnan stating his status recently with AAA.

Fucking A the hits just keep on coming for AAA don't they? Which is a shame, I was always disappointed in myself for not getting into lucha more, being that I'm Mexican and understand the language. But I only just recently started watching more recent AAA matches (mainly because I love the Jack Evans/Angelico tag team, they're so fun live so they drew me to this) and I was hoping I could get into the storylines etc. but all I see is bad news after bad news for this company.

Blue Demon Jr. vs La Parka vs Villano IV vs TBD for the Rey de Reyes championship

That sounds like an early candidate for worst match of the year.

Not even remotely close: 1) Demon and Villano have some bad blood between them and seem to have good old-men chemistry; 2) Villano is probably gonna do a massive bladejob because reasons; 3) the TBD could be Pentagon or even Fireball; 4) La Parka will do his comedy and I'm hoping for another killer tope like the one from either GDT or December (don't remember), he can still roll the workrate for at least 45 seconds.

Whoever the TBD is, I hope Villano IV wins the whole thing because I'm such a massive mark for that fat old troublemaker. Spoiler alert: Villano IV will not win.

CMLL is not the only lucha fed with strong March supercard:

Opener TBD is probably Fireball, RDR Finale TBD is either Pentagon Jr. or Fantasma Jr. Top two matches should be good if they decide to do more punches and blood, and less vintage hardcore Mesias spots.

Given that Pentagon Jr is not in the tag title match it is safe to say he will be in Rey de Reyes. He also would be the obvious choice to win it, though given that Blue Demehn Jr. is in there it is far from certain AAA will do the right thing.

Flamita/Fireball has been repackaged as the new Octagon Jr. - hopefully he'll be a better fit for the character than Samuray Del Sol was.

I hate it. Absolutely hate it. He should be Flamita. Let someone else be Octagon.
