One of the most underappreciated guys in Japan of the past 20 years. One of my all time favorites. I will be driving his bandwagon during this project.

Personally preferred him over Kenta and Marufuji.

Currently Top 3 for me, he won't end up anywhere after #8 in all likelihood and could sneak ahead of KENTA for #2. His entire NOAH run is entirely underrated and he's just been killing it there since 2001, Sure fire top contender for me.

Strong #1 contender, agree with Tanner & arms here. No matter what dysfunction has been going on around him he's never stopped being one of my favorites and one of the best in the company. He is the one that represents NOAH more than anyone besides Misawa.

Sugiura & Omori vs. Akiyama & Saito from June 2001! GO WATCH THIS!!!!!

Sugi is a total beast here as a rookie fighting from underneath. Absolutely fantastic performance. I'm so amped to watch more of him from his first 2-3 years now.
