Loads of episodes of NWA World Championship Wrestling (Saturdays at 6:05pm on TBS) from the mid-80s are now up on WWE Network - as of current check, they have the following...

So not every week yet, but I'm sure they'll plug in the gaps and add to that, hopefully all the way into the Turner era, and the change into WCW Saturday Night.

This honestly makes me think about subscribing again after more than a year away. I know it's a tired argument, but I really don't understand why they don't add the old territory stuff on an episodic basis every week at the same time. Having random on demand content almost assures that nobody is going to see it. Running this every Saturday night at 6:05 EST makes so much sense. It would direct people to it and increase the likelihood that they'd get hooked on it. They could do this with so much of what they own.

1985/1986 Jim Crockett was my favorite time/promotion in wrestling, regardless, so this is great news. It was a big hole for me when the network first came out.

Great news! 86 is such a killer year for Crockett. a friend of a friend works in the archive department and once said that there is so much current/original content to upload on a daily basis that they have no time to deal with the library, but it looks like that's changed.

I watched the November 2nd 85 show late last night and it was entertaining even though they have a Pez Whatley match that goes pretty long for a studio TV match.

Also, the check the replay Boogie Woogie Man match just for the reaction of one woman in the audience. I howled.

I watched the first episode and there isn't anything worse than on the other Network stuff. NWA was using a lot of unauthorized music and obviously wwe can't have Michael Jackson blaring on the Network, but it's nothing were not used to already.

Gonna hold off until they finish adding whatever they're adding. 6:05 was very high on the wishlist of old content I wanted to see.

They don;t add much old stuff, but when they do, they always pick the right time periods for whatever they upload.

Just watched april 12 1986. They had so many elite talkers. Also a couple solid matches Flair vs ricky morton and Arn vs sam houston

OK I lied, i'm watching all of these RIGHT NOW.

Like Prime Time Wrestling, these remind me of childhood. There is a real nostalgic comfort when I watch this stuff.
