The biggest irony is that people from this board have always made fun of the people posting on the TNA/Impact fan sites, yet they're the same as these people they've been mocking for so long.

There are many who are instinctively defensive or defending of Dave, but the board folks are an entity all of their own. On the one hand, loyalty is a nice virtue. On another, blind loyalty is not.SuperplexlariatBW wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 5:46 pmThe biggest irony is that people from this board have always made fun of the people posting on the TNA/Impact fan sites, yet they're the same as these people they've been mocking for so long.

Re: F4W/Observer-Is it still worth paying for?
I generally think Dave gets a bad rep from a lot of people who just don't read/listen to his stuff, but the idea that he is a victim of some lynch mob when he did what he did is amazing to me.
Re: F4W/Observer-Is it still worth paying for?
I don't know man. The Roman/Dave thing seems odd to me. Dave in his weird Dave way is really just saying that what Roman had sounded scarier than it actually was. I'm not an oncologist, but the fact that Roman went through a cycle of prescription medication and was fine in what could really be measured in a matter of weeks says to me as a lay man that yeah what he had sounded scarier than it actually was. Which btw is a good thing. If you are sick that's the best case scenario.
It feels to me like the anger at Dave is coming from a place where people got so emotionally invested or whatever that they want to pretend Joe Anoa'i was on death's door and made a miraculous recovery.

The Mania week picture thread on the Board remains one of the highlights of the year regarding the site. Always delivers

Re: F4W/Observer-Is it still worth paying for?
Although not an Observer question, this thread feels appropriate:
When does Mark Rushford (“Les Moore”) plan to finally give the details on his alcoholism, and how it may or may not have negatively impacted his Sheet Sandwich web site by being creepy towards “Sealia Bloom” and seemingly not just driving her away from the site, but the entire internet altogether?

What a piece of shit
Re: F4W/Observer-Is it still worth paying for?
Context of the question was around 1936, aka when the Nazis hosted the Olympics. Which was three years after the camps started (Dachau), the Aryanization of German society began and the passing of forced sterilization and involuntary euthanasia programs (1933). It was also less than a year after they passed the Nuremberg Laws (1935).
And people still let them have the Olympics. So of course a theoretical Vince McMahon would have gone.

I'm not sure the context helps the stupidity of his response. Nor does it help the obvious stupidity of making any response to a Nazi related question.Danwaka wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2019 7:01 pmContext of the question was around 1936, aka when the Nazis hosted the Olympics. I'm still not following how this is a bad reply to make. He clearly is taking blood money in 2019, so it's not unreasonable to believe he'd do the same at a certain price level in the 30s.
